contourex® memofoam


The contourex® memofoam developed by us and the biomechanical properties of the human skin, in physical terms, form a comparable visco-elastic system. This manifests itself, for example, in the fact that pressure is optimally distributed by body heat and body weight. The „viscous“ properties (Fig. 3) of the foam also have an excellent shock-absorbing effect of 95.1% after 100,000 load cycles. The delayed memory (resilience) of the foam in particular is the precondition, which enables contourex® memofoam to adapt to the foot as it constantly changes during the course of the day. This enables an individual footbed to be formed at any time.
